The KyV Farm Children’s Garden has come a LONG way. Francisco and Vivian have been hard at work cleaning, clearing, planting and fixing up – along with some little helpers…..
Gabby stops here for a photo op. This is the newly fenced entrance to the event hoop house. Here you’ll find a to-do board, calendar and games for the kids.
Step inside the hoop house and you’ll see a chalkboard, gloves, shovels and hoola hoops for the kids.
Member Asmitha Buddam’s daughter helps plant flowers.
Here Gabby checks on the tomatoes. YUM!
Event Hoop House
We’re so excited to also show updates on the hoop house where we’ll have yoga and workshops.
Note:
We’re in need of donations of white Christmas lights, rectangle tablecloths, white table cloths or sheets, ceramic dishes and utensils that you’d like to upcycle. Thanks in advance!!
Future Kitchen Needs
Finally, we dream of a kitchen area for members to congregate after pickup or after events. If you have an old wooden cabinet or stainless steel prep counter you’d like to donate, we’d love to use it in our kitchen.
That’s all until next week! If you’re interested in sharing your recipe, farm story, photo, video etc, please send it to me at dawn@floridacoastalcooking.com and I’ll add it to the blog rotation. Cheers!
It looks beautiful . You sure know how to recicle. All my love. Mom

Can we come next Wednesday to help in the children’s garden? My daughter, 4, is really excited about helping with it this year.
