Cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants and kale… oh my!
We’ve got so much on the way and we’re so excited to tell you about the new developments this year.
The children’s garden.
Before there was an empty field and hoop house/hen house full of chickens, now there is a beautifully plowed field ready to be planted, and a hoop house just waiting for events.
But first we need your help. The children’s garden needs planting and weeding and events will be even more fun with your help. Can you participate? Contact our volunteer coordinator at dawn@floridacoastalcooking.com to let us know what you’re up for.
September 10th our first farm volunteer meeting will be at 6pm at 1670 Borrow Pit Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32259.
Farm to table dinners, yoga on the farm, potlucks and more.
Yoga will be once per week on Wednesday mornings at 10AM in the hoop house. Pricing will be $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
What’s new in food?
This year we’ll have pre-chopped veggies for signature recipes to be provided along with the accompanying grains and beans.
Baby photos. Awwww. Isn’t that cute?
The CSA is enrolling now for fall. Don’t miss your chance to be the proud owner of the freshest, local-est veggies around.
Are the t-shirts for sale?
